At RetortLab, our focus is on providing comprehensive support to small and medium-sized food entrepreneurs (SMEs).
We guide you from having no knowledge of food preservation to successfully producing large-scale retort products at your own premises.
Our retort services are holistic — from retort classes, purchasing the right machines, installation at your premises, hands-on guidance on operating the machines, to ongoing support through our Whatsapp group.
For new entrepreneurs, we also offer food retorting services. This allows small business owners to create their own brand without the need to invest in a retort machine.
Expert Led
Our team is made up of experts with Master’s degrees in Food Science & Microbiology from Glasgow, Scotland, and qualifications in Commerce from Sydney, Australia.
Our trainers have hands-on experience, having served as former directors at MARDI and senior lecturers in Food Technology at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UNIKL).
We also work as consultants for several companies in the retort and food industries. We’re often invited to share our knowledge through lectures and retort courses by private organizations.
Additionally, we’ve had the privilege of providing training for government agencies in Malaysia, such as MARA, RISDA, FAMA, LKIM, and KEDA.

Our experience covers both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical skills.
Our close interaction with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly those owned by local entrepreneurs, allows us to provide tailored solutions that meet your specific needs.
In addition to our food industry expertise, we also bring a background in corporate and finance, with experience spanning from the gas and aviation industries to hospitality.
